PM’s Sister-In-Law Booted From "I’m A Celebrity"
Lauren Booth, Tony Blair’s sister-in-law has been voted off I Want To Be I’m A Celebrity - Get me Out Of Here.
Of course this isn’t much in the way of news in itself (I haven’t watched, and do not intend to watch, the programme) but it is part of a deeper problem with society - the idolisation of Celebrity and the crap TV that goes in around it.
Any programme with the word “Celebrity” in the title deserves to be avoided. All it consists of is a load of Z-list “celebrities” who want to revive or create a career. The levels to which they will go is sickening.
I would rather watch the ordinary Big Brother than the Celebrity version. But both are crass and trash TV.

I wonder if Sir Michael Grade will keep it going?
