Free Blackberry for every MP? I can’t see why not, considering that the majority of companies do this sort of thing for their managers. And if it helps them do more, it’s worth it. However:
Sharon Hodgson, like all other MPs, can borrow a personal digital assistant (PDA) from Parliament’s IT department.

Well, I’m sorry but that’s just tough. If you want a better gadget than that offered to you, then you can buy it from your not-inconsiderable salary.

Sounds to me like she’s playing at bigger penises.
personally the only tech I’d give them would be one of those necklets much liked in sci-fi circles that can be remotely tightened to decapitate the wearer.
I’d give every citizen a button they could press when ever an MP appeared on TV and if more voted for decapitation than against - BINGO!
Oh, I’d give them each a blackberry — there’s a bush of ‘em growing at the end of my back garden…
Okay, all of us doing a job need the tools to do that job, but some of what MPs seem to be getting at taxpayers’ expense is becoming rather silly now.
I’m inquisitive to know what they gave her now.
Probably a pack of post-its and a pencil, which she brought back when the pencil blunted.
