I Wish I Could Go Back To Colledge College

Add a comment

Sometimes you just have to wonder about the level of intelligence of some people. Near me, there is a road called “College Road” where some roadworks are taking place. This is the sign as it was about a week ago:

And yes, it’s still there, and still mis-spelt. Hence my decision to blog about it.

You just have to ask who wrote the sign, and why no-one else has appeared to have noticed the mistake. Either they didn’t go to college, or certainly need to go back.

On that note, I [almost] wish I could go back to uni. It was so much more fun than work!

Is Miliband trying to grow a moustache?

In his photo in this BBC story, David Miliband seems to have some bum-fluff on his lip. Is the 12 year-old Foreign Secretary trying to make himself look older and more distinguished for an attempt to wrest the Premiership from Gordon Brown?

Bloggers And Their Cars

Add a comment

Iain Dale is doing an article on politicians and their cars, and I came across this online quiz - so I’m asking bloggers: which car are you?

The results say that:

I’m a Ford Mustang!

You’re an American classic — fast, strong, and bold. You’re not snobby or pretentious, but you have what it takes to give anyone a run for their money.

So As Not To Disappoint Iain Dale

Iain said “[n]ow watch them appear on blog after blog after blog…” And who am I to disappoint? So here I am, Warholized:

The Grand National

I just had to make a bet on this years Grand National [racing at 4.15pm] after seeing the name of one particular horse that is just perfect and hilarious, considering my job, meaning that I just went and put a £10 bet on him winning:

Comply Or Die

If he wins, I get £95! w00t!

UPDATE: Comply Or Die won the Grand National! Now I just wish I’d put more on him!

The worst thing about the long Easter bank holiday weekend?

Going back to work on the Tuesday after.

Even though I quite like my job, I still don’t want to go back to work! Four days just isn’t quite long enough…
