The Queen gets a reward that she richly deserves:“The public voted her Greatest Living Briton 2007, beating Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Julie Andrews, Baroness Thatcher and Robbie Williams.
The Queen was not present at the ceremony to collect her award, voted for by ITV1 viewers, but Prince Edward paid tribute to his mother via a video transmission.” (The Telegraph)
The Queen has been on the throne for more than fifty years, and there is no denying that she has done a good job, and has held the country together. This is a reward, and award, which she definitely deserves. God save the Queen!
